Tales from Freedom Lost :: The Poet's Dreams

Dark long passages,
People in fancy clothing moving to
Soft movements
To the music.
His mind was elsewhere,
Playing games with fantasy.

Now run into the circle and be with your friends!
Oh, how they all seem to fit in so strange,
Strange,
They're all strangers.
He likes one of them.

Soft rhythms of her body,
The passionate beat,
Her dark hair
And wicked body language.
Time to fantasize.
Join the crowd
And allow the show to begin.

To come out of darkness,
Meet a party of creatures,
Standing.
Oh how wonderful it seems.

Magic.

Everybody knows her,
She's mine.
Everybody loves her,
Today, tomorrow and forever.
Everybody wants my baby
Running out of the blue to you and me.

Out there in a little town I know,
Little creatures come out to show,
That's where my love hides,
My lust seeks her there.

A creature screams,
AAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!
Baby, you should have heard what I've just seen.

But I know there's now end.

Totally amazed by the silence of what's happening,
No time to cry,
It was for a year and a half I dwelt in the
Palace of hostile.
Getting high with the other priests.

Time has pounded away,
The keeper has unlocked my cage
And set me free (temporary).

Wild hair girls playing strange games
In dark rooms.
Soon I'll be out of this ravaged game
And join them in luxury and in romance.

Patience is the virtue
And reality is the game,
So I patiently wait to be with her.
It's not long.
